Face oils and serums are a great way to lock in moisture and protect against wrinkles and aging skin. I recently tried an oil serum by S.W. Basics that I really wanted to share with you in case you've considered adding an oil serum to your facial routine...
The first thing that attracted me to S.W. Basics is the use of whole organic ingredients in their products. In this oil serum, the bottle says “organic avocado oil, organic geranium oil, organic turmeric oil and organic coffee oil. If you’ve read my Ancient Secret to Glowing Skin post, you know how useful topical turmeric mixtures can be.
All of the ingredients found in SW Basic’s Oil Serum are total super skin foods for your face. As our skin ages, it's great to give it a boost with extra vitamins and minerals wherever possible. Goodbye Crow's Feet, smile lines & forehead wrinkles - my new FAV oil serum is in town. S.W Basics is an anti-aging beast!
Pros - I love the texture; it's not greasy, but rather silky. I use a few drops of this product at night after I’ve cleansed my face and follow with my routine night cream.
Cons - The product has a slight aroma, a soft wood-like scent (turmeric?). If you’re someone who is okay with oil aromas, it probably will not effect you. I have a very sensitive nose and noticed the scent as soon as I opened the bottle, but find it rather pleasant.
If you’re thinking about trying an oil serum, this is the perfect one to start with. It's all natural and pretty affordable for the value. I have sensitive skin, and have used this product for a week before writing this review and did not break out or notice any irritation. I give this product my stamp of approval!
Let me know in the comments if you've tired this product and what you think!
